Volunteer with us and make a big difference
You can volunteer in a variety of ways, giving as little or as much time as you like.
Area Based Roles
If you live near one of our area-wide projects, there's a rich variety of ways you can get involved in bringing joy to older care home residents in your community. Please visit your local page via the buttons below for a list of opportunities, together with full role descriptions and details of your local area co-ordinator.
Non-Geographic / Home Based Roles
You can also make a big difference to the older people we support, wherever you live, through our non-geographic volunteering opportunities.
For example, craft-lovers from across the country are making beautiful handmade cards and gifts for care home residents during the year and at Christmas to bring the residents joy and show them that someone is thinking of them. Our creative volunteers have so far knitted, crocheted and sewn colourful sensory aquariums, walker frame bags, capes, blankets, fingerless mittens, craft spring flowers, toys including woodland creatures and much more.
You can find out more about how you can get involved from the role descriptions below, including relevant contact details if you have any questions.
