Carers Connected
Weekly GatheringsCarers Connected is a friendly online gathering of carers on Zoom, hosted by two facilitators, that meets for one hour on Thursday afternoons at 3pm and Wednesday evenings at 7:15pm.
We spend most of our time chatting and sharing experiences, and during the last 15 minutes we pray for one another. Sometimes we enjoy a short time of reflection with a poem or song, usually with a Christian theme.

Weekly Message
Whether or not they are able to attend the gatherings, carers can stay connected via a weekly email with the poem, song, or bible verses, which may have been shared in the gatherings, along with any relevant news.
One carer said, "We are always invited to write in if we feel like sharing that way. It is always a personal note of encouragement to receive each week."

Facebook Forum
We also have a private Facebook group for carers to connect outside of our weekly Zoom gatherings, which our Carers Connected Co-ordinator would be happy to help you join.
