Carers Connected
We spend most of our time chatting and sharing experiences, and during the last 15 minutes we pray for one another. Sometimes we enjoy a short time of reflection with a poem or song, usually with a Christian theme. Whether or not they are able to attend the gatherings, carers can stay connected via a weekly email with the poem, song, or bible verses, which may have been shared in the gatherings, along with any relevant news.
We know technology can sometimes feel daunting. If you have any questions about using Zoom, please let us know when you contact us and we'll be happy to help.
Facebook Forum
We also have a Facebook group for carers to connect outside of our weekly Zoom gatherings. If you would like to join the Carers Connected Facebook group please click on the link below.
Carers Connected on Premier Radio
We were delighted when Carers Connected was featured on Pam Rhodes "Hearts and Hymns"
Premier Christian Radio show on Sunday 7th August.
Carers from the group shared hymns that were important to them and some of the story behind them.
Premier Radio have kindly allowed us to include a recording of the show on our website.
