Webinars for Churches
These webinars are delivered by our founder and director, Tina English.
Churches, organisations or wider church groups can book one or more of these webinars, which can be adapted to local need.
Each webinar costs £50, or the series of 4 can be booked for £150. However, if this cost is a barrier we are happy to accept a smaller donation. All money raised supports the work of Embracing Age.

Webinar 1: A Great Place to Grow Old - reimagining ministry amongst older people.
Do you look ruefully at your ageing congregation and wish your seats were filled with younger people instead? Or when you look at the older folk God has appointed you to lead and serve, are you filled with love and gratitude for the honour and privilege? This webinar helps churches plan strategically for their ministry amongst older people.
Webinar 2: Coming alongside people with dementia
How can we be a blessing to those in our congregation and local community who have dementia? This webinar focusses on how we can come alongside people with dementia in practical ways. It can be adapted to suit church leaders, volunteers working with people with dementia and safeguarding officers.
Webinar 3: Being a blessing to care home residents
Jesus said whatever we did for someone overlooked and ignored we did for him. [The Message] Care home residents are some of the most overlooked and ignored people in our community - what an opportunity to serve Jesus. If you're not reaching out to your local care home you are missing a vital ministry, or perhaps your care home ministry needs revitalising. This webinar will help you do exactly that.
Webinar 4: Supporting informal carers
Out of sight, out of mind: that's often the situation for informal carers who are looking after a loved one. It can be an isolating, hidden and exhausting role. Carers need the support of their church family, but what does that look like? We draw on the feedback we have received from carers to outline some guiding principles for churches in supporting carers within their congregation and local community.
